Duran Junior High School offers 3 levels of band to our students. "Beginner band" is offered to students who want to take band for the first time. "Intermediate band" is offered to students who are entering their 2nd year of playing in band, and "Advanced Band" is offered to students who are in their 3rd year of playing in band. Many of our 8th graders also participate in the Pell City High School Marching "Band of Gold". The band is the SPIRIT of the school! Our students find a place of belonging, create memories, and friendships that last a lifetime. Best of all, the band could be your ticket to greater things in life! Aside from amazing travel and performance opportunities, many of our members earn music scholarships and play in college. It could be you one day!
