new students to duran
Enrollment dates for students new to Duran Junior High School are July 22nd (8:00 AM - 11:30 AM) and July 23rd (12:30 PM - 3:00 PM). This is just for students who are NEW to the PELL CITY SCHOOL SYSTEM and NOT students who are returning (if you are coming to Duran Junior High from Williams Intermediate you are NOT considered a NEW student). Returning students (those who were at Duran last year and those coming from Williams Intermediate) will complete their registration ONLINE, not by using these forms.
Students NEW to the Pell City School System who will be attending Duran Junior High School for the 2025-206 school year must complete the New Student Enrollment Packet:
1. Download, print, and complete the Enrollment Packet from this page or come by the school and pick up a copy to complete.
2. The completed packet, along with required enrollment documents must be given to the counselor during your appointment time. Only the legal parent/guardian can enroll the student and make an appointment with the counselor. To make an appointment, please call 205.338.2825.
3. In addition to the completed packet, you must bring the following items to your appointment:
- Alabama Immunization Form
- Proof of Residence (water or power bill or signed affidavit)
- Birth Certificate
- Social Security Card
- Special Education Status (if applicable) - IEP or 504
- Withdrawal Form and Grades from Previous School
The 2025-2026 Lunch Enrollment Form is not included in this information but will be available during the enrollment appointment.
